Here at HQ things have been getting busy and I’ve finally finished creating my mini studio which is perfect for baby bump and newborn sessions. The natural light is fantastic and the white walls allow each of my clients personalities to shine through without your eyes getting too distracted by anything else. I love my little white cube and look forward to shooting more beautiful sessions there.

Back to this session… Sarah was around 7 months pregnant when we did this shoot which is the perfect time to photograph your bump while you still have enough energy to move around please enjoy looking through these photographs of my gorgeous friend!

I love it when people bring fresh ideas to their shoot….Sarah thought a way to get Jacob involved in the bump session was to bring some paints along and do some hand prints on the bump! I love it…

This beautiful little person is called Beatrix… I met up with her and her lovely Mum and Dad a few weeks ago. We had lots of fun and cuddles with this little one as she slept softly. At only six days old she was quite chilled out and we got to create some beautiful images for her parents to treasure.

Earlier this month I visited Liz and David the day before their wedding at Cannizaro House Hotel in Wimbledon, London for an engagement shoot. It was nice to get to know them better and I could see why they were smitten with such a beautiful venue.

This is a selection of photographs from throughout the day, I had many favourite moments from their special day and enjoyed working alongside the lovely Kaz Fernando who did excellent hair and make-up and Cannizaro’s Joseph, who helped the day run so smoothly.

But most importantly this blog is about David and Liz, showing the story of their wedding day they shared with the most important people in their lives.

We started out over at the boys’ hotel, the charming Rose and Crown. David and his best mates had fun getting ready and dabbling with a few beauty products before taking a walk across the common to Cannizaro where Liz and her beautiful bridesmaids were getting ready upstairs.

They had guests travel from all over to celebrate with them, from as far as Spain and Iraq.

Beautiful.

I have to say this is one of my favourite wedding cakes ever! Yum!

This was such a lovely wedding that I think created fond memories for all who attended. I wish David and Liz all the best as they resume life back Australia!

I believe that photography is  one of the best investments for your wedding day and feel my job comes with great joy but also a huge amount of responsibility. This day was no exception, especially since David and Liz live so far away, in Australia it was important to capture these ever-so-special memories and do this amazing day justice in my photographs. So thank you Dave and Liz for trusting me with such an important job on your wedding day.

This is Flora Clementine Belle Thomson who was just 2 weeks old when she had her first photography session. I had the privilege of meeting this little one and having a catch up with her beautiful Mummy Jessie a few weeks ago in their Cheltenham home. I was so excited to meet Flora after photographing Jessie and bump a few months ago. Flora graced us with the cutest smiles and the longest of stares with her amazing blue eyes…

In between smiles I had a nose through her lovely little nursery, perfectly stylish! And I expected nothing else from her amazing stylist and wedding planner mummy you must pop over to her lovely site for a little look!

And we can’t forget Flora’s doting doggy Whinney!

Isn’t he amazingly beautiful! I met up with him and his lovely Mum and Dad, Gemma and Dave a few weeks ago at their home an hour up the M5 from me. He was just 10 days when we did out photo shoot but he was very alert and inquisitive and was keen to keep an eye on me at all times whilst I took his photographs.

I’m sure you will agree with me that he is an adorable little boy! And very comfy in the arms of his Daddy…

I hope you enjoyed looking through this little collection if you know of anybody expecting a little person please tell them to give me a call as I would love to give them their first official photo shoot newborns are always best to photograph with the first few weeks of their little lives as they are perfectly sleepy (well most of the time) and allow us to take photographs that make you go “AWH”

Hello! This blog has been a long time coming for many and I was eager to post it too… We had a great time earlier this month with Adam and Leanne and their families celebrating their wedding day

This wedding was all about the guests, Adam and Leanne told me that they wanted their guests to have a great time, feel relaxed and enjoy the party. And that’s what they did! The couple joined their families along with the other members of the bridal party at a lovely little ‘greasy spoon’ cafe in Mill Hill, London for a big full English to kick start the day. I was happy to oblige when asked to join them to get some shots done whilst having a catch up with some familiar faces.

I highly reccommend the Silver Service Cafe for a hearty breakfast and kudos to Leanne being the only bride I know to eat a full plate of egg and chips on her wedding day!

I loved the hustle and bustle of everyone packed into the cafe filling up before the ceromony I knew it was going to be an excellent day for photographs

After some emotinal goodbyes we headed back to Leanne’s parents’ house to take some snaps while she was getting ready… I think this snap is so sweet from when they first got engaged, they look so happy.

I adore this engagement ring… so pretty. And it created the vibrant colour pallet for the rest of the wedding too.

It wasn’t quiet for long once the bridesmaids arrived…

Love this next one… (it rained all morning and then the sun came out just in time for her to walk down the stairs)

Over at the Kingdom Hall where the ceromony took place Adam was patiently waiting for his bride.

All married and ready to pose for formals!

We arrived to Bushey Golf and Couutry Club to see that Leanne’s big brother Ben had suprised them with a chocolate fountain. They also laid on a lovely spread of Sri Lakan curries for their guests.

CURRY + MELTED CHOCOLATE = WEDDING WINNER… YUM!

Back to the party. It was great to see some faces from previous weddings too like Beth and Joe.

After some touching speeches that made me well up and an even more touching first dance we headed back up the M5 to Bristol, with great memories from this day. Its weddings like this one that make me really appreciate my job, I get to spend time with great people and experience someone else’s world for a day.

This is the blog of the newly married Jennifer and James Madelaine. The ceremony took place in the lovely historical town of Axbridge at the Saint John the Baptist Church and then onto the absolutely beautifully quaint Maunsel House in Taunton.

I was joined by Pete a friend of mine who is 2nd shooting for me a lot this year he was the perfect accomplishment for the wedding and brought a ‘fresh’ eye to the day.

James and Jennifer were so calm and laid back all day which made them a delight to be around as where there friends and family who we enjoyed getting to know through out the day.

And here are a few from the day, kicking off with some their little Axbridge house…

Meanwhile Pete caught up with James and the boys in Bristol.

I thought it was very cool that James hired a Jaguar for him and Jen to enjoy for the weekend.

And here she is, one of  the calmest and caring brides we have worked with… Jen did nothing but make sure everyone was OK and having a great time all day.

And here is a sweet gift she had made for James to record some memories of holidays they had in the past.

The cheeky boys managed to fit in a pint before they went off to the church!

Just time to feed Albert and we where off… I love it that we walked to the church from their house, that was a first for me.

On to Maunsel a beautifully 13th century house sat in 100 acres of gorgeously maintained grounds and straight into some ‘formal’ shots… including some props from the bar.

I loved the D.I.Y. seating plan which was themed around James’s love of cycling.

The speeches where a great opritunity to capture some priceless moments on peoples faces.

After the toasts we milled around and soaked up the atmosphere of the evening.
